Birth StoriesHave you ever read a birth story that was so inspiring that it gave you a lump in your throat and made you want to give birth?
When I was pregnant, I just loved curling up in bed to read a birth story that would give me new ideas of positions, techniques, tools or whatever would make birth easier and better. I'm guilty of having a ton of childbirth books in my house that I've never read. They are just too dry. A story, on the other hand, is something that I never grow tired of. I spent a year going through hundreds and hundreds of stories to get the best 48 stories. Every time I read them I still have to get out the big box of Kleenex because I get the lump in my throat and before I know it I have tears of happiness streaming down my face. (I was thinking it was the hormones but it really is the stories!) Anyway, I'm posting a new story every week from the book.
